Women of Moreland

Get-togethers for all women (and friends) of the church take place 6 or 7 times a year, typically meeting in the evening in Fellowship Hall at the church or in a home.  Food and fellowship are always present and the focus of the meeting changes with the season.  Programs for 2015-2016 include book discussion groups and Advent Wreath-making. Contact Sarah Gibson, sarah@morelandpresbyterian.com  for more information or to get on the email list of upcoming events.

Stephen Ministers are trained lay caregivers who visit and listen to individuals who are experiencing a difficult time.  This may include: death, divorce,relationship struggles, job loss, moves and many other changes in ones life. Please contact Pastor Mary directly if you would like to receive this specialized care.

Older Adult Ministry (Lunch Bunch)

This group meets first Sunday of the month( September/June) for lunch and socialization. Come bring a friend or neighbor for a wonderful home cooked lunch and some social time.

Library  

Committee: Joyce Bischoff, Pat Hunt, Judy Kolasky, Charleen Oerding, Jeff Stephenson, Norrene Thompson, Susan Reiver (current chairperson).

Moreland’s self-service library is open whenever the church is open and has a selection of books for persons of all ages. Books may be checked out and returned in the main library across the hall from the office or at the Library Annex in the Fellowship Hall.

The library has a year-round reading program for children; for every book read to or by a child, the child may select a prize from the prize bucket.
