Update on Moreland's Remodeling
Our remodeling permit was filed in February. We await the city's response, which could be anytime, or months more.
Phase One is gearing up and will include changes to the office hall restrooms and Fellowship Hall. The Fellowhsip Hall work is going to begin in mid-May. Due to structural issues, the other areas we hoped to include in Phase One will have to await permitting approval. We will advise you as soon as we have a start date for demolition and construction. Most activities planned for Fellowship Hall have already been moved to other rooms.
Rooms and Doors: Watch for announcements in the bulletins and around the building for rerouting of doors, room usage, and pathways. These will change over the ocurse of the remodel. Please note that once the remodel begins, up-to-date meeting locations will be posted on the office door. The website calendar is also kept up-to-date, so if you have any doubt, check there.
The Remodel Drawings will be posted wherever coffee hour takes place, and the drawings will be moved to other viewing locations as the remodel needs dictate.
Help: Let us know if you are willing to help for an hour or for a day. There are many tasks, and many hadns make the work lighter!
Pray for the path we are going down, that it will be a glory to God, and that it will live up to the wonderufl programs here now and in the future.
